I ran the Bradbury Scuffle course this evening - it is going to be a fun race. I had a GPX file from the race director, which confused me a little since it differed from the map online. The map hasn't been updated to the latest course yet, which goes left at marker 66 and comes back to the trail at marker 67, instead of going straight between them. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/kml/episode.kml?episodePkValues=5799223

Bradbury Scuffle was this morning and had absolutely beautiful weather - and by beautiful I mean that it was pouring and muddy. The race was a lot of fun. Well marked, don't think that anybody got lost, and way way different than running the 50k last year. This was the fastest I've tried running on trails, and managed to keep up a good pace despite a hard road 5k effort yesterday. Managed to keep my feet the entire way, although I did twist my ankle once. Didn't bother slowing down, though, so it didn't start to swell until after I finished and immediately stood around skipping a cool down so that I could photograph the finishers as they came through. No mosquito or tick problems thanking to the weather. Plenty of puddles to splash in, and the bridges weren't too slick. I'll update with a link to race results once they are online.

There were a bunch of people with cameras out. I got mine out after finishing, and most of them didn't come out too well, but here's the link anyway if you want some finish line photos of runners 6 and on: http://flickr.com/photos/runtowin/sets/72157605623266844/
