If anyone happens to live in or be traveling near the greater NYC area next January, I'd highly recommend fitting the Watchung Winter Ultras into your schedule. Saturday (Jan. 10) was a fun day of running for me. My running bud and I met many laid-back and experienced trail runners, and we had a blast running and power-walking through the scenic trails and falling snow. Definitely worth the drive!
