2008 - Well I managed to get healthy enough to finish the Stone Cat Marathon this year. Not too fast but I finished! Now I have a new injury (severe ankle sprain) to deal with. Oh well. If I can get over this in the next 2-3 weeks I'll start off 2009 with the GAC FA 50K on 1/10/09. Here are the other races I'd like to do in 2009 with a lot of shorter races thrown in between. 2009 April Northern Nipmuck 16M May Wapack End to End 21M or GAC 6 hour run ??M Aug Wapack Out and Back Sep Curly's Marathon or Pisgah 50K Nov Stone Cat 50M Happy Trails to all. dan

Twisted Ankle Marathon/Half Marathon in Summerville, GA. May 16. This is a fun race. MTA: Just registered. I waited too long last year and lost out.

This is way uncertain, but shaping up to be something like:

January: Ghost Town 38.5 - New Mexico

February: Moab Red Hot 50k - Moab, UT

March: WRIAD attempt? (White Rim In A Day) - 100 miles - Moab, UT

- or -

March: Kokopelli's Trail? - Fruita, CO to Moab, UT (148 miles)

- or-

March: Grand Canyon Trip - either R2R2R or something new (and longer) - Arizona

April: Annual spring desert trip. Locations TBD

June: Bighorn 100 (if no Hardrock 100)

July: Hardrock 100??

-or-

July: Softrock 100 (Hardrock course over 3-4 days, staying in hotels, eating nice meals, and sitting in hot springs)

-and-

July: Colorado Trail - 465 miles - 16 days - supported run - Denver to Durango ,CO

July: Mountain RATS 4-day stage race, 100-ish miles - Copper Mountain, CO

August: Cascade Crest 100? - Washington

Sept: Wasatch 100 (lottery pending) - Salt Lake City, UT

Sept: Bear 100 - pace a friend 62 miles - Logan UT to Bear Lake, ID
