Hey, congrats to him!
Yeah, everyone was talking about the chop on the return trip - my teammate who swam said he felt sorry for anyone breathing on the wrong side during that leg.
The third or fourth cyclist through the midway point, when he stopped to get his bike special needs bag, announced to all of us, "Just to let everyone know, the wind is brutal out there today".
(I was helping hand out bike special needs bags, whilst my bike teammate was cycling.)
I thought all the volunteers seemed really nice.
MTA: And one of the aquathon or aquavelo swimmers said she was feeling the jellyfish as she would reach out during her stroke, sometimes.
