Shoe's for Duathlon (Read 338 times)

Muebele

I'm doing my first dualthon in two weeks and am wondering what people do about shoes.  I usually run in Racing flats and then change into the shoe's with the clips for the bike.  But that would require two shoe changes and would most likely slow down my transition time. Does anybody have any advice, or is doing the two shoe changes pretty much standard?

    thanks

I change shoes......Clip in on the bike. The difference the clip ins will make on your bike time will make up for the shoe change.

I change shoes too. Put elastic laces (lock laces) in your runners if you don't already have them so you don't have to tie shoelaces.
I also change shoes.  I'm going to try and take my feet out of my shoes on the bike and running sock footed at Cape Henry.  I also use the yak laces so I can slip my running shoes on and off.
