Wow... looks like whitefish did pretty well... I see the girls beat flathead (and glacier), which is pretty cool. What happened to Columbia Falls? did they not have enough people to run varsity? I see that they have a JV team... I put the results online here if you want to check them out. I also included Anne's race results in a different section (here). I still don't have anything under the team roster for this year (or last year, for that matter). Do you think you could send me an updated list of the people on the team. If you want to wait a week or two to see who else comes out, that would be fine as well. Also, there's a "nutrition" section of the site that doesn't have anything in it yet. I think you've written some stuff already for the running camp notebook... if you have that on file still, you could just send that to me if you don't want to type it out again. Well, good job with Libby... I"m looking forward to seeing the next race (even though it is Flathead...) -Jacob

Jacob, C-Falls ran only 3 of their boys in the varsity race. The rest of their team ran jv. with the races combined they would have been pretty close to where Polson was in the results. I think they'll get better as the season progresses, but hopefully, so should we. Your 'cuz' Taylor, from BF didn't run. It was hot and humid, so conditions were not great. So, that may have been for the better. I'll get you rosters shortly, as well as the nutrition article you were looking for. Could you put an alumni section on the site, and then you could post all the collegiate race results on that? plus we need to spruce up that home page with something. Maybe a picture or something. Has school started yet. How are things? Bill

Yeah, I know it's a bit bare... But I don't really have any pictures from xc. I have some from track, but I don't really think that would be the right thing for the front page. I'll work on getting the alumni section up... that shouldn't be too much of a problem. School hasn't yet started. Tomorrow is the first day of class. I had to be here last tuesday for the orientation, but that ended on thrusday, so since then we have been able to do whatever we want. I've just been exploring the city and trying to get used to the change. All of my roommates seem cool, which is good. I'm going to try to figure out more about the xc program once school starts. all of the sports teams are out at cape cod for some reason, so I can't find anyone to talk to.
