By the looks of it, there are a couple of ways to go with your race. One - enter and get to the starting line really early and wait for the start, trying to get through the masses, or two - pay an extra $12.00 to get second seeding. To get this you must be able to run under 18:40 for 5km for boys, or under 22:30 for 5 km for girls. If you're really going after a time, the second seeding is probably worth it. If you don't care about the time, the the regular race will be okay, with the chip timing. The toughest part will be getting by people for the first mile or so.
