Now that I've completed my second barefoot run I'm wondering how most people record barefoot runs? On RA it seems like there are two options * use a shoe type of "barefoot" or * create a custom run type of "barefoot" I opted for the first option as I hope to enjoy standard work-outs later while barefoot although now my limited range has made them both recovery runs. MTA: Plus I like seeing a "shoe" of $0 accumulating miles

I do the exact same thing to record my BF runs. I've gone almost 100 barefoot miles in my Barefoot shoes at no cost Big grin My intention is to run 40-50% of my total mileage BF, and to reach 40mpw in mid-late summer '09. Bill

"I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, it's usually my ankle" - unk.         "Frankly autocorrect, I'm getting a bit tired of your shirt".                  I ran half my last race on my left foot!

I enter my runs into RA, but don't take advantage of shoe or run types. I keep a separate log in Microsoft Access, and I created a "shoe type" to keep track. So far all my barefoot runs have been on a treadmill. Not all my treadmill runs have been barefoot, though. I hope to run barefoot outside next summer, so a run type would not work for me either.

That is me also. The t-mills at work hav a fairly rough belt so I hope any sole adaptations will be beneficial when I try some roads.
