i'm finding i get a lot of strange looks...one lady even stopped her car by the side of the road to have a better look.

Just across the water from you. N.Ireland. Most of my runs have been at night so have not had anyone comment other than friends and family. Most think i've lost the plot. My wife is very supportive, The time changes this weekend so I will probably be out in daylight from then on and expect the comments and strange looks to start.

nice to know - thanks for your reply. perhaps it's born out of the climate but i think that culturally here it is perhaps considered a bit odd/ eccentric to go barefoot? being an introvert i am self conscious, maybe more sensitive than i need to be. i am loving going minimalist though. duncan.
