Hi all!
I followed my doctor's instructions and after a 45 minute bike workout, I got on the treadmill and did 2 cycles of 4 minute walk/1 minute jog. It felt very awkward and my heart was pounding - not from exertion but from fear that it was too soon. I still favoured the non-injured side but it did not hurt or swell up afterwards. Just a bit of warmth in the foot telling me that I used muscles that have been dormant. I was concerned about how I would feel today, but my foot actually feels better than it has for months!
I have appreciated all your guidance through these long 3 months. Runners are great people!
