Chicago Distance Classic (Read 258 times)

I'm making this a new post since some folks might not have been following the CDC discussion in the thread immediately below. Also this is particularly relevant to anyone who ran the CDC looking to qualify for a starting corral for the Chicago Marathon. It has been confirmed that there was an error in the certification of the CDC course, resulting in the "official" distance of the race being extended to 13.2762 miles. There may be some adjustments made to the finishing times, although this is not entirely clear at present. The Chicago Marathon organizers have been advised of the error, and the marathon has adjusted the qualifying times for the Chicago Marathon corrals to correspond to the corrected CDC distance. The new corral times for CDC results are: -Corral A < 1:27:15="" -corral="" b="" />< 1:37:30="" -corral="" c="" />< 1:47:45="" -corral="" d="" />< 1:53:00="" you="" can="" follow="" the="" whole="" drama="" here="" in="" the="" />Runner's World thread or in the thread in the main forums here.
