Pace Groups (Read 389 times)

Mishka-old log

Does anyone know if it's too late to join a pace group? I wasn't healthy enough to run a qualifying time for a seeded start. Now, I'm shape enough to run within a few minutes of my PR, but I'm stuck with a non-seeded start. Having started in the non-seeded section before, I know it will hinder my planned pace for the first few miles.
You can sign up for the pace groups at the Expo, but that won't get you into the seeded corrals. The pace groups in the Open corral are 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 4:45, 5:00, 5:15, 5:30, and 5:45. If you want to run with a faster pace group, you'll need to line up as close to the front of Open as possible and catch up with your group.
