Today I ran with two friends.  One of them is facing a major surgery tomorrow and will not be able to exercise for a month or so.  Today was her last run until then.  I felt honored that I was asked to come along and share this run with her.  I have been praying each day for her, and will continue to until we can run together once again.  She's a multi-marathon finisher and knows what it takes to be in something for the longer term.  I'm sure her recovery will go well.  I just hope it's fast enough so she doesn't go stir crazy!
