It's gonna be pretty much a last minute call for me, I think. You do realize that if you drive and I do the 50k you'll be waiting around for a lonnnnng time for me to finish after you're done, right? There is a barbecue so maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Hmmm, then again, you are 1/3, so maybe our times wouldn't be that far apart after all.

I saw a manatee on our tandem jet ski. The face puncher is angry because I hurt her because she was on the back and it was a little bumpy. Took me a while to figure out I could help that out by using my legs to cushion the waves. Good times.

correct me if i'm wrong but i think the 50k stahts at 8 and the 25k stahts at 10....we would end the same. i and everyone that rides with would just have to get up waaay early....but wth...it is a festival...good times.

Are you talking about my swim? I meant to swim a littl;e further, but honestly at 4 miles I got a bit tired so I turned around. Land looked a little far away and I didn't want to get swept out to sea or hit by a big cruise ship or something. It starts to get a little scary when you feel like you can't see land any more.
All in all a pretty good workout but not as hard as all'y'all make it sound. The water was warm and it's salt water of course so that likely helped me.
