Does that happen to be a weekend you'd be there anyway? And yeah, I've been thinking about this race ever since I read about it last night. The only thing holding me back (so far) is that it's pretty damn expensive, especially for a 5k. But still, mud, and fire, and obstacles, and...stuff! How can I not do this?

I never said i'm NOT doing it. It's just kinda hard to pull the trigger on $80 for a 5k, especially if it's sandwiched in between Pineland Farms and Pirate. I'm probably still gonna suck it up and do it anyway, because it looks like too much stupid fun to miss. And maybe if I'm lucky I'll hurt myself, thereby avoiding drowning in Lake Sebago the following week.
