It appears that the marathon is likely to sell out this week, or early next week. So time to make the commitment. For those wishing to switch from the marathon to the half - see the race website (www.baystatemarathon.com) for instructions.
If you get shut out - do not despair - We have some folks looking to transfer their registration - we are recommending they post here. Watch for that. As people switch (or defer) - those spots will become available - so we also recommend you keep trying - may the force be with you

The marathon is down to 31 spots left... My guess is they are gone by Monday - thanks for that! The half is now officially half sold (no pun intended) - and thanks for that!

Heh nope. My plan was always to drop to the half, but since there's a wait list now if somebody needed the spot I could transfer it directly to them so they wouldn't have to take their chances on the wait list. Otherwise when I switch it'll just go to whoever's next on the list.
Oh, and marathons are stupid.
