Hey I crossed paths with JP the other day. If he's still in that same 24-25 minute range I'd be happy to pace him again.
A list of my PRs in a misguided attempt to impress people that do not care.
He should be faster and btwn 22-23 but I'm not sure he'll go for it

Today is our last practice and I'll be finalizing assignments today and Friday. If you guys can be at the school by 8:30 or so that would be great. Similar to last year, we'll likely be in the café downstairs around 8:30 and then wander out to the field around 845ish to warm up. Let me know if you guys have questions. My mobile # is 239-1081.
Whatever. I'll go with whatever he says and pace accordingly, but push under the radar.
I talked to JP today and he told me you guys chatted. I gave him a brief summary of the Cremer running history and that seemed to get his attention. I also heard from other reliable sources that he wants to beat Ben this year. I heard this was only his only goal. Beat Ben. I think JP can hang with Ben and could beat him. The challenge will be if Ben decides no one is beating him in this group....no one will beat him. But Ben is not in the same kind of shape I've seen him in the past which gives JP a legit shot.
You have your mission.
Doug has Tanner, Logan, and Ben and will need to stay with the fastest guy (likely Ben but could be Landon) which will likely land between 22 and 23. But I haven't seen these guys compete in practice and they never pushed during intervals like previous years when the 3 of them got after it. With a little race day magic, this could be interesting.
This is the first year where it's wide open.
Fro's mission is with the young guys and he will pace with Todd McCann. That will be fun.
Dick has Michael C and Lucas who are in 6th grade.
Pam has Kayce and Hailey who are 5th graders.
All great kids
I dunno who Ben is but he's effing toast.
What’s Ben’s PR ? Nevermind. It really doesn’t matter because it will be shiny and new on Saturday.
Ah, good times. What a great experience making these kids uncomfortable and then proud.
uncomfortable and then proud.
This is how I live my life.

For me it's usually the other way around.

A great day of running for the kids and some pretty awesome performances across the board. Thanks to my pacers Doug, Pam, Cremer, and Dick for pushing these kids. JP held on for a good part of the race but Ben had another gear at the end to push ahead. Very impressive day.
As always, it great to have Bob at the race representing the CN Crew.

Special shout out to L Train for starting this silliness 7 years ago and I look forward to joining him in retirement after today.
