A few things... (Read 126 times)

You might or might not have heard about yet...

Thing 1... I asked Kim to marry me. For some odd reason she said yes. No planned date or really planned anything yet. This is the big news, the lesser news is...

Thing 2... Yes, I am still injured, but it's maybe getting better, just very slowly. This partially leads to...

Thing 3... I will not be doing the Pirate Tri. Or any other tri for that matter. In my attempts to train and get better at swimming, I've discovered that I hate it. I have no interest in doing it, and no enthusiasm for it. That combined with the fact that I can't run at the moment kinda sealed the deal. This stuff is supposed to be fun, and I was hating it. Really I just want to be a runner. That's what I'm gonna do.

    There ya have it.

A list of my PRs in a misguided attempt to impress people that do not care.

    Home Away From Home

Congrads and way to go on Thing 1. Wish the best with thing 2 and thing 1 for that matter. Sounds like you are following your heart on thing 3 so good job and things 1 for that matter.

Smile Congratulations to the both of you....Smile

Kim is a beautiful person... You are one lucky guy!

I hope Thing 1 puts thing 2 and 3 in perspective. Thing one is really all that matters!

Now regarding thing 2, if you want thing 1 to stay happy, then go to a PT and find out what to do to get well. You have too much talent to be out of commission. Stop being stubborn and go see a PT.

This is where I went... and he REALLY helped.
