Just returned from my yearly dialated eye examination. For those of us at high risk of diabetic eye conditions, don't forget to get a thorough eye exam each year. Running is on the Don't Do List if you have weakened or damaged blood vessels in the eyes due to diabetes. Lucky me; so far no vessel damage, just the early stages of cataracts which is also diabetes related. Fortunately, it hasn't gotten any worse in two years.
Discipline is never an end in itself, only a means to an end. (RF)
