last appointment w/ my endo he planted the seed to move from my oral meds - prandin, glucophage, amryl to insulin. I see him in 2 weeks and am about to start to do some research but wanted to ask you guys & gals about it. been on oral meds for about 4 yrs and been ok with controlling my sugars - but honestly i think the more I train and fight temptation is the deciding factor. kinda get ticked if I run out of prandin and my insurance won't pay for a reup right away or if I forget to bring them with me/run out. anyone make this transfer from oral meds to insulin? what are issues w/ taking the insulin shot? thanks
