One day at a time

I'm trying to figure out what I should do for running this coming week. I've had 4 good weeks, and I think I'm supposed to go lighter this week. Another factor to consider is that we're going to be downhill skiing in Vermont the second half of the week. I haven't skied in two years, so it will be challenging! I figure I will ski two days. My miles the last four weeks: 19.5, 20.8, 22.0, 23.6. My runs this week: 3.1, 5.1, 5.1, 3.2, and 7.1. So if I ski two days, what do you think I should do for runs? Thanks for your help! I'm trying to catch up to the 1000-mile bunny, but I don't want to overdo it, either, and get hurt. Teresa
I would think skiing would be good cross training for the quads, and strengthen your ankles, but don't get hurt and mess up your training schedule. I would cut out a couple of runs for the skiing.

Skip the running and go have a good time skiing. Missing a couple of days running won't have much effect over the long term.

        Not at it at all.
