Walking for recovery (Read 144 times)

Since everybody here runs every day, recovery is particularly important.    If you can't recover adequately you threaten your streak.  For me I have found the more I walk in between runs,  the better and quicker I recover.   Stretching helps, but walking is king.   Your gut feeling tells you to put your feet up, you would think walking would wear you out even more.   Does anybody else use walking in the same way?  Any tips or secrets you have found to speed up recovery?

I dont but I might be willing to try it.  It seems every time I lay down to rest/recover now, that my ankles and calves are stiff and achy when I get up.  Maybe I just need to go for a walk instead.
