It seems that Eric's counter is slightly off showing me at 3 years, 6 months and 2 days. My streak started on 12/31/07 so according to my calculations today is my 3 1/2 year anniversary (I started on the last day of a month so it only makes sense to me that the anniversary would be on the second to last day of each month).
What about Leap Year 2008 -- does that make the difference?

Maybe... but I'm pretty sure I ran on that day too.
it is kind of weird that over 3.5 years, it is off by 2 days. i could almost see if it was off by more and he was just counting each month as 30 days.

How many days does "six months" mean? Does it mean 6 x 30.417 days?
NM - I don't think that is what it means. I don't know how it's calculating that.
