I've decided to end my streak this Sunday at 2 years and 1 day (731 days). I feel fine and would like to keep on going but I've got an inguinal hernia that the doctor says is going to need an operation before the end of the year and I figure I may as well just pick a good exit point while I'm still feeling good instead of ending one day when I'm doubled over in pain.

I chose 731 days because I noticed that somebody in the longest all-time streaks was at 730, so I figured I'd add a day to that. Guess I've been watching too much Price is Right.

It's been fun and a nice challenge. The 1-mile days have made it pretty easy when I didn't feel too great, but like many of you, I'm sure, there have been days that running just 1 mile was harder than running 10 miles on a day when I felt good.

Thanks Ojo... Looks like you'll be passing me soon... hurry up... I'm in 13th place now and I'm superstitious, so 14th won't hurt my feelings at all.
