    Bob, I plan on running Miles for Music on 3/10, and also the New Jersey Marathon, my first on 5/5.

     

    May 5th is a busy racing day for our team!

      Hi, 4midables!

      I had a much better week last week - 40 miles for the first time since last June or July.  Last 10 were on muddy trails and my legs are still sore.  Hoping to be over 30 again this week.

      PRs: 5k (21:48); 10k (44:32); 10 mile (1:14:52)

        irishguy, I'm running NJ Marathon as well!

         

        Well, I finished the Mount Mitchell Challenge this past weekend. It was tough. The had to modify the course a little due to the bad weather. We still ran to the summit, but the revised course was "only" 37 miles instead of 40. You know what? I was perfectly okay with that! I finished in 8:01:01. One of the hardest things I've ever done.

         

        Now to figure out how to get back into marathon training without overdoing and hurting myself.

          Keep up the good work 4midable! Put some good miles up last week with 54.5 and that was with taking 2 URDs too battling a cold. i was hoping for mu first 60m week in 2013. One more quality workout tomorrow and then start 10-day taper for my HM on March 9th. Feeling really good and should race well. Hoping for a sub1:38 probably around a 1;36-1:37 but we shall see how those Cburg hills treat me.Smile

                  Awesome running everyone!  Karen, you are amazing, way to rock your race!

                  I ran a PR on my marathon and finished in 3:39.  Next goal race is the NYC Half on 3/17.
