Great! See you there! Do you like running on the trails around here? If so, where do you go? Umstead's nice...

Unfortunately, I haven't found too many true trails for running, besides Umstead. I enjoy several paved "trails" for their scenery (e.g., Shelley Lake, Lake Johnson, Tobacco Trail, NC Greenways, etc.), but I haven't found too many soft trails that I would feel safe running on (I have a bad habit of twisting ankles on uneven surfaces). Eno River state park (in Durham) is nice, but I have only done hiking there. So... I will probably train on paved surfaces until the race. Let me know if you have any other recommendations.
