John L. Parker Jr. author of Once a Runner. His recommendation. (Read 349 times)

q day

I met John L. Parker Jr. today at the Lewis and Clark Marathon expo. He was selling and signing "Again to Carthage", and was the keynote speaker at the pasta dinner. I did not make the pasta dinner, but I did talk with him briefly while he signed my copy of "Again to Carthage". I asked him what book/author was his favorite and he suggested I read, "The Olympian" by Brian Glanville. I looked it up on Amazon.com and there were mixed reviews, but I plan to read it at his suggestion, since I loved "Once a Runner" so much. I thought many of you would like to hear this also!
