You have to see the pictures of these guys coming down.....now that is scary. I have scree run once and once only.
In any good Fell Race they have a "Best Blood" award which goes to the person with the grimmest blood injury

As luck would have it I have just finished the Beachy Head Marathon, which, although of ultra status is classified one of the toughest marathons in the south of the UK and officially designated as a Fell race is actually a Downland race (open area of chalk hills)

Yep, bought it and read it at the advice of "rgot" himself (columnist in UR magazine, see back page). I am going down for the 50 at Cactus and will be cheering for Drew in his attempt at 100! It's a tough race for Texas!
