I had the honor to crew for a friend in his first attempt at 100 miles last week at the Arkansas Traveller 100.  Here is his report.  He is quite thorough with his account, complete with photos and video journal.  He ran an awesome race...

If it's too long, Jacob finished in just over 21:30 and came in 7th overall.  He is moving to ultras from Ironman competitions and has completed a double Ironman.  He compares the 100 mile effor to the double Ironman event in terms of difficulty.
