Anybody here running this in two weeks?

Nope, but doing a 50km hill run this Sunday

How you doing Leslie? Training good and what time you going for?

Come on, Jerry.  You don't want to come all the way over here and run in the desert with me??  I'm shocked!

The training's been going good.  Everything I do from here on out is to get me ready for AR50 in April, so Coach has been added little extra evils here and there, just to get me used to them.

Since Desert High is relatively flat (so to speak), I'm hoping to finish in 6.5 to 7 hours.  In July, I finished SOB in 7:48, and that was at higher elevation and lots of climbing.  The running at Desert High isn't flat by any means, but it's rolly.  At least the 18k I ran last year was.  I completed that in less than 4 hours, which very much surprised me.  So that's why I'm hoping I can do this in 6.5 to 7 hours.  We'll see!!

Let me know how your 50k hill run goes.

I hope the High Desert go well for you. I won't make it this year. Sent you a reply. I think you're right it will be a good training race. Nice people too.
