achilles tendonitis? (Read 223 times)

    been dealing with this burning pain on and off for my entire running life; did a 100 in april and has progressively got worse; i know ive probably overdone my training but when do u stop and when do u just put up with it;ive resolved to practice speed walking through the howl 8 hour on 8-14; if anyone has any help id appreciate it greatly

      Buzz - Burning pain doesn't sound good.  Have you ever seen a doctor for it?  It sounds like at some point, you're going to have to make a decision to stay off it for an extended time to see if it heals.

        My AT was a burning pain.  Rest helped.  Folks talk about massage, rest, ice, NSAIDs.

          I have been putting up with AT for 12 months now.  It doesn't stop me running, but it takes a while to ease off in the mornings and is sore after running.  I spend quite a bit of time hobbling around between runs.
