RD Brian Polen has announced that the date for NC 24 will be Sep 22-23 with a 9:00 am start. He was not able to get the preferred date of 9/15. Registration is expected to open on February 1st. I will be going again this year.
2024 Races:
03/09 - Livingston Oval Ultra 6-Hour, 22.88 miles
05/11 - D3 50K 05/25 - What the Duck 12-Hour
06/17 - 6 Days in the Dome 12-Hour.
Sigh.
I guess you'll be tapering for that obscure race in Greece.
Yeah. Somehow I was thinking NC was three weeks before Spartathlon, and depending on the team qualifier picture at that point I might have to bite the bullet and impact my Spartathlon performance for a shot at the coveted auto team spot for the NC winner. But one week... nope, not possible. I'm going to have to make the team elsewhere.
