I'm training for the Burning River 100 on July 27-28 In Ohio. I'm located in western PA. Looking for people to run with sometimes, either in PA or on the BR course. Plus also trying to gather a crew and a couple pacers For the big day. Thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone might be local want looking for crew/pace experience. Of course, I would reciprocate for your next ultra so long as travel is reasonable! Smile

7/27 Burning RIver 100M

8/24 Baker 50M

Banshee, be sure to check out the Fools Run 50k in April. It is put on by a fellow RA'er (roots) and is a really great race that is on part of the Burning River course.

I'm doing the North Coast 24 hour in April so no 50k for me. Boo!

Check out NERC (North East Running Club). My Brother in law is a member. I joined just to get support from them during the 2011 Fall NC24 and they are all fantastic. A lot of them are big ultra runners and have ran/paced Burning River before.

I may see you at the Spring NC24..but only if I have some base fitness this time..Its no fun hobbling around for 20 of the 24 hours Smile

Yes, NEO Trail Club is a great group based out of Mill Creek Park in Youngstown. Many members enthusiastic with Laurel Highlands, Massanutten, Hardrock, and of course Burning River. Banshee, if you're at any of Rick Freeman's FA runs around Pittsburgh, you might run into a NEO Trail Club member.

Also, NEO Trail Club has their annual URINEO FA coming up on Dec 22 at Mill Creek Park and everyone invited. They rent the log cabin for a post-run fest after running. I typically attend URINEO, but will miss it this year. Link here for info. I am happy to put you in touch with other runners if you can make it!
