Fred Garvin, what say you?
It was teh suck, I just could not get out of a negative thought spiral
While I've run in the rain before, nothing like this.
By the time I dropped at Squaw Peak (m53), it had been raining for over 13 hours with no respite in sight.
My water resistant watch even quite working
ugh

And... sorry Fred Garvin. Sounded brutal.
Gumbee - Mother Nature sure didn't give you guys a break, did she?
I just got off the phone with my friend who paced her sister. Besides the rain, it sounds like a lot of aspects were a total cluster %$^*, as least from a crewing standpoint. Lack of clear explanation as to how bad the roads would be for driving without adding in the relentless rain, bad markings to indicate turns, people giving up and sleeping in their cars until daylight because they were getting lost.
I'm dying to read some race reports. I have a feeling they're going to be extremely varied.
