        Interesting findings in the study.


        And I am surprised that the runners did the mid-race test (which lasted 20 minutes, not the 2-3 minutes of other studies), without getting credit (in the race) for it. Tells me that ultramarathons are more about pushing your own limits, not so much about winning the race.
