3 Days at the Fair 2013 Results (Read 70 times)

In the 24 hour races I have done, I have been 74 - 81 miles at 12 hours.  Only twice was I able to convert that into a good race (147 / 154) out of 8 tries.

So 74-73 splits for the first race (NICE!), and 81-73 for the second. How different was your fitness level that you decided to go out that much faster? Or was it some other factor that caused you to go out at that pace? Thanks.

I'm so much slower than most of you but for me the hours of twilight and just before dawn were the hardest. All day and all through the middle of the night I was okay but from 8 or 9PM until 10 or 11PM and then from 3 or 4AM until 6AM or so I was just wrecked.
