Seems to be a lot of that mud around this fall. Hope Angela appreciated you running with her as long as you did. Time to take it easy and recover.

Great report Jay. That's a great time considering the conditions and your recovery. Glad you stuck it out.
I wonder if some spiked shoes would have worked in the mud. I have some Inov-8 that I use for snow running. Any pavement or rocks they are no good though.

I still need to find me some good cushy, roomy, mud shoes.
Mid pack finish shortly after a 100 miler sounds like a win to me. Tough running in that kind of mud, probably felt longer than 50k
