Hi Peeps -
My friend, Russ McGarry, has spent the last year editing his piece on 2010 Western States. Prior to the race, he extensively interviewed Hal Koerner, as a previous 2x winner, and my friend and ultra running guru-ess, Kate Merrill, as a first time runner of the race, and then followed and interviewed each throughout the race.
His original intent was to submit the piece to "This American Life," but he has also provided it as a podcast, which can be found at 3 Nonjoggers. At the time of posting this thread, I've listened to about 15 min of the podcast and am hooked.
