Anyone here heading to the Cumberland Trail on October 3rd? I'll be heading up for my first attempt at this course and I was wondering what to expect.

I did it in 2012 when it was an out and back. It was a tough course with amazing aid stations (they'd be good stations at a 100 miler). Susan Donnelly was the RD back then. Good footing but big climbs and descents. I was very happy with a 7:30 mid pack finish.

 

I have no info on the new sections of the trail.
