Adam ran Western States two weeks ago in 19:28.
Adam Hewey dropped at Ouray. Damn.
His 2013 10th place finish was pretty epic.

3rd place finisher struck by lightning going over Handies... still pushed to finish! Blew out his headlamp! The 1 and 2 runners got over Handies before the storm... Having been up there, that peak is not a good place to be during any kind of bad weather! I was caught on Oscars once in lightning... asking my friend what to do, he took off and said Ruuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnn! Rocks were buzzing as we sprinted down!
