My wife mis-bought my Christmas request for socks and I ended up with 6 pair of drymax hiking socks. They are really comfy, I think i prefer them to any other Drymax socks. I had won a contest a few years back and won 12 pair of drymax of different types, so I have worn a lot of styles.
I was actually perusing the hiking models and wondering if they would be just as good as the "running" models for long runs. And yes, I find the dual-layer socks don't dry as fast. I never ever wear them if there's a chance my feet will get wet.
