Australia look like winning the men's event, whilst England are well on top in the Women's race.

The top Aussie looks like he will post a very respectable distance.

I am rather gutted that I'm not there as either spectator or competitor.  Another time heh?

      Why aren't you there?
      5K, 4/28/07 24:16 PR 10K, 5/5/07 49:23 PR 1/2 M, 12/08/07 1:49:34 PR Marathon, 12/09/06 3:57:37 BQ 50K, 10/04/2009 7:27:00 PB 40M, 4/17/2010 11:20:00 PB

Competitor?  Hadn't run a qualifying distance.  I did run a qualifying equivalent at 12hrs, but they had sufficent guys to make the team who had run the full 24.

        Spectator?  Work commitments.  Sad

        You'll ruin your knees!

Wow, that's a great report!  Fantastic.

Oh, and this made me smile.  I went back and re-read it several times...smiled each time...

I proudly flew the flag for the last few laps, hands high in the air waving the St Georges Cross until the final hooter sounded.

She is a great runner.  I mean great.  Top of the UK rankings for years and years.  This year she recorded the best ever performance by a Brit at Badwater..... man or woman.
