Good Bad & The Monkey
6/9 WrigleyGirl Hawthorn Half Day 12 hr Terre Haute, IN
Still thinking about this...
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
I am not sure where he is going with it lately - He has been very cheeky since running that 3:06.
DAMMIT! I now think AP was messing with me, posting that here. Except he races short distances. But why would a 3000 be held on trails? I think he is trying to make me look stupid. Jokes on him. I do that perfectly well on my own.
Long dead ... But my stench lingers !

...But why would a 3000 be held on trails? ...
Because the park is small, and they won't let me run the course over the tidal beach part, because I'm too lazy to look up tidal tables, and people have some issue with having a trail that may actually be underwater.
But yeah, I didn't expect you to really list it; I was just being silly.
I actually title it a 3K - by analogy with titling road races "5K" and track races "5000". But trail 3000 sounded humorous.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

I hear Trent held Underwater Monkey last year.

Eh, the reputation grows with time. Wet T-shirt Monkey.
To be fair - Both Girls and Boys should = No t-shirt Monkey.
I am fuller bodied than Dopplebock
Both boys and girls did... and I was the one to which it was said, "I can see your titties".

Very nice. He is pretty awesome. I just received a very nice e-mail from Nick Coury two days ago. He said my qualifying mileage from 2010 is fine and that it will be nice to have someone who is used to running these races on a track. He was really sweet, and I look forward to running one of his races. I get the idea that Aravaipa Running does a great job with their races. That all means that I am in for Arizona in December. Now all I have to do is figure out how to beat Ian Sharman...

I'd like to do that but figured I wouldn't be allowed. Think 68 miles for 12 hours in Terre Haute would get me in
2020
Pretty mild temperatures and very scenic.
Only if they do not get a better choice(s) - But a great run at Leadville would carry a lot of weight.
Looking at all the races everyone is doing I think it is funny how we use ultras for training and fun. For instance everyone keeps asking me what I'm training for and I tell them Bayshore Marathon May 28. I don't even bother to mention the 50K trail race I'm doing in April because I don't consider that something I'm training for. They wouldn't understand ....
Holy cow. I just looked at your log. Do you sleep or just run and work? Very impressive.

Exactly - Break 18 @ Leadville!
