      BONKIN!!!!     Hi!    Big grin

Heya Coolest Lady in the World!

      Congrats again on the BQ!

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

Heya Coolest Lady in the World!

        Congrats again on the BQ!

Haha!  I didn't know how to respond to her post !!!

Thank you, I'm still smiling, even though I'm STILL walking down steps backwards.  I thought I was past those days, but apparently I just haven't been pushing myself enough to feel this kind of pain again.

            Welcome -

I guess I'll crawl out from under the rug, too.

I've run a couple marathons and a little over a 50k in a 6 hour (all of this a few years ago). Since then my running has been pretty sporadic. Volunteering with jlynnbob at Rocky Racoon earlier this year, has rekindled my goal to try my hand feet at a 50 miler. Right now, I'm in get-my-fat-ass-back-in-shape mode and tentatively planning on the 50 miler in Palo Duro Canyon in October.

Long dead ... But my stench lingers !

Pain and I are very friendly right now.  I hate that fucking bastard pain, but pain loves me.  Carry on...

+1. 5 days. Almost pain free. Will get in a few miles today.

Run until the trail runs out.

I ran too soon and managed to do something to my right leg.  Live and learn, right?  Sad

Hi, another new member from New Zealand.  Just signed up for the Tarawera Ultra 85km in March.  Only done marathons so far, so will probably spend a lot of my time just lurking and picking up ideas.

Totally new to runningahead.com and this forum.  I'm a young (by mosts standards (31yr old female, mother of two) aspiring ultra runner.  I won the first ultra I raced this past September! Dupont 50K.  I live in the beautiful mountains of western north carolina so I am indeed a trail runner and hill climber.  I run all distances but mostly 30k's and up.  My second ultra is coming up this Jan 2010, another 50K (Tsali 50K). . . I am planning to run a stage race in Chattanooga, TN for 2012, a few 50K's and hopefully my first 50 miler Smile  I look forward to picking up advice and tips from the forum!
