Margaret, ew, NBA; North American league w least parity... Same two teams in the finals every year. Or it at least seems like it's always GSW vs Lebron, whichever team he is playing for.
Lizzie, nice speedwork! The amount of times I've had to explain to non-runners that rainy runs are better than super-warm ones... Almost always following up w ''YES, really, they are'' for time-saving purposes... First world problems indeed
Karen, bookmarked your RR; it will be nice reading waiting for NHL
Diane, reports before 7am is pure evil... Are you sending them only to the one hated guy or he is one of many recipients? If it's the first one, maaaaybe excusable
It's raining outside and I totally don't want to get out there, even for the planned 6mi. I sometimes have a willpower of a sloth. Especially if there is beer in the fridge and some Excels to tackle. On top of that - a bit of unpleasant pain from wisdom tooth. Yay!
Edit: skipping the run and sitting w K and Excels instead. Absolutely not in the mood for rainy run second day in a row and w 10 days left till HM, running every other day is good enough for maintaining the form.

Running with the Turtles
4.25 Mi for me this morning. Lizzie would love it, 40's in the morning and warming up to the 60's in the afternoon. Yesterday it was actually 70, it felt hot. Rain expected Friday but it should clear up for the weekend. DD and I are volunteering to work a water stop at a 5K/10K/20K trail race on Sunday morning. The running team is doing a trail run at the park near me on Sunday afternoon, it's not until 4:00 though and I don't think I can run that late.
Elina, my Tuesday was finished when you posted, I went to bed at 8:30.
Margaret, haha, funny seeing you post so "early".
Lizzie, nice speedwork half marathon. I would be dead after doing Body Pump. Hope your day goes better! I haven't thought too much about races this year. I'm being cautious. A part of me wouldn't mind just keeping the long runs shorter and doing something like 5K training! But I guess that would get boring. Just another 60+ mile week for you. Pretty awesome! August is generally very hot and humid here, not many races longer than a half. That being said...
Lisa, there is a 50 miler in wonderful Argyle, WI. https://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=53030 It looks like a super-small race! Probably not as fun as CA or Boston. Another 50K this Sunday?
Sue, baby belly cast? Uh, interesting keepsake.
Kat, Fiesta? Sounds like you had a great day off! I have been getting mail about Hell (Run Woodstock). I get that you want to keep your options open for the race!
Karen, I will need to get some coffee before reading your race report. I need a hammock also. Uber out and run home, I never thought of that. I had DH pick me up once when I did a 20 miler and ran 20 miles straight out from home. It was planned, we intended to eat out afterwards.
Diane, I think sporting a race bib definitely makes you attractive.
Sandy, I am so glad that I don't have to talk directly to site people any more. Because I agree, I think they like to call and chit chat because they are bored in the middle of the night! I just have to deal with our Manila call center, and usually I just need to talk to them a minute before signing onto instant messaging. Independent women do scare some men, particularly those that think they want an independent woman but really want a mom.
Damaris, the foot corrector looks interesting. Looks like something that can help strengthen feet. I may have to look into that. Pricey though, I may have to charge people to come to my house and use it.

Lol Elina, it's the controller of one of the casinos and she is legendary for her unwillingness to be helpful...so deserved.
Cathy, I'm never sure if some one is "interested" or just weird so I just tend to ignore them all. Ever since I was young I never minded being alone...there are so many good books that can be read.
Cathy, LOL. I would if I paid that much.
Karen, nice RR!

Judy – How cool you “ran” into a friend on the trail Have another great run today!
Susan – Let us know what she ends up doing with the belly cast. I am curious what the point of those things are. Woohoo baby watch! How far is she from you?
Diane – Nice job getting on the rower last night and the miles!
Docket – Good luck on the workout tonight!!
Karen – I got chills reading your race report. Maybe that’s because it sounded like you were cold No, really, awesome RR. I did not realize that many people started and did not finish. You sure peed a lot! LOL. I think the cold can do that..its happened to me several times. You were gutsy to take a risk with the Gatorade – I wouldn’t be worrying about having to pee..LOL. Did you ever see the woman that walked to the start line with you again? Or know if she finished? What a crappy first experience for her! I am sure she will want to run it again, too I have said it before and I will say it again..you are a badass. Congratulations!!! You did so awesome.
Kathryn – Happy Humping, huh? Good luck on the miles! What is Fiesta? Is that the same thing as Siesta?!
Kilmisters – You never had your wisdom teeth removed? Ouch! I like your idea of skipping the run to hang with K
Cathy – Nice miles this morning! You are right – PERFECT weather if you ask me!! Seriously. I could live with 40’s in the morning and 60’s in the afternoon! Awesome on the volunteering! I wouldn’t want to run at 4:00 either..too late. You went to bed earlier than me! Why don’t you just do the 5K training for now? Until it gets boring Then do 10K Its supposed to be fun, right? Man, that 50 miler looks BEAUTIFUL! HAHA – I like the idea of having DH pick you up and then going out to eat Hmm…I bet HCBF would do that. If you get the foot corrector - I will borrow it from you. LOL.
Speaking of baby belly cast keepsakes. Moms, do you keep your child umbilical cord? When I was moving out of my parents’ house I found it in my dresser drawer!!! It wasn’t in a bag or anything. . That’s just gross. I think belly buttons are gross.
Have a great evening!
October 4 - Milwaukee, WI - 26.2

Lisa, if I wasn't already registered for a race in Oregon on August 11th I would be thinking about driving up. One of DH's sisters lives in Auburn. Face it, if you want comfortable weather for running in August you are looking in the wrong hemisphere.
Hmm. Washington in October, anyone? http://ccc50k.com/ Single & double track and fire roads...DD lives very close...cool weather...9.5 hour time limit for 50K...and COOKIES!
Damaris, that looks like something used to make people talk. Torture device!
Liz, not all of us have had our wisdom teeth out. I have all of mine still. They're perfectly good teeth and they meet and they chew food!
Elina, I'm sure people are happy when you send an early email and their phone pings and wakes them up.
3.1 this morning and that's all. Giving a final tonight and I had to skip lunch today. I did make it to the gym once so far this week.
5.9 miles with 4 x 5 minute intervals. Tried to get them around HM pace, had a bit of a spread. Got to wear short for the second time this week. Highly unusual this spring.
AnonymousGuest, that's the first picture I've seen of the Athlete's Village, IMG, the mud. Way to tough it out in miserable conditions. Any chance the race you watched start from your car was the Frederick running festival?
that moment... when the best laid plans of meeting Katie at the gym after work turns into me standing outside the women's locker room texting:
Me: "where are you?"
Her: "standing outside the women's bathroom"
Me: "which planet fitness?Her: "f&^@!"
Yes, we were at two different gyms. Only us. She ended up driving to join me. So I got 25 minutes on the machine with no name plus 30 on the elliptical with her. Then we went to Red Robin and had the big beers. Then we realized that we have the EXACT same eye glass frames, except with different inside highlight color. Same spec numbers on the inside and everything. Too funny.
Margaret-probably going to pass on the not so Cool race then. I heard back from Boston RD. They have an 11 hour cutoff so he suggested signing up for the 50k then doing a "bonus loop" since it's a ten mile loop. Only costs $22. LOL Dry heat, wet heat... same miserable feeling although I chafe less in dry heat.
Lizzie-poor Ruger. But lucky that he gets to go to daycare! As for the independent loving guys... but when you do find one... it's magic! And that's all I have to say about that. <Forest was right, life is like a box of chocolates> Yea.. 2 25-mile loops are tough.
Judy-hope you enjoyed your trail run.
Sue-happy baby watching!
Diane-but you're smart too. That's why your back was better this time out. 2019 will be a fun year of running with friends... I am foretelling that already! As for the 100 miler... maybe find one with a longer race. LOL I'm sure that they must exist, right?
Damaris-I'd be reformed from reforming at $10k.
Kathryn-there's more than a minimal chance if you put your mind to it. Just don't go into it expecting to fail or you will. Go into it expecting to finish. Polly Positivity here. Yeah... I may pass on the Habanero Hundred in August. I'll take you up on that final comment.
Karen-blogging about long runs should take a long time. LOL Ugh on the humidity.
Elina-ouch on the wisdom of teeth!
Cathy-yes. This is the local 50k on the trails I run all the time. I'll consider the Argyle. I had looked at it.. not sure why i passed on it the first time.
Tessa-this is daughter wedding year in November so October is going to be tough for me.
