spike - yikes - but that's super important especially with winter coming up and the weather and grip and traction and all that safety stuff. Completely hadn't thought about yarn loops. I think I have time to whip up another fabric topper. Need to get some more material. Any excuse...

Oh yeah, we don't mess around with that. Dh ordered the tires and they will be put on my car on Wed.

Bermy- one foot in front of the other until my mojo returns. At the very least, the Canal Caper 10k in March. I have no headgame- since I sucked at SeaWheeze I kinda had a goal of hitting 1000 miles this year, but after being laid up most of Sept with gluten attacks, I realized that it was slightly out of reach (I would have had to maintain 22 mpw min the rest of the year) so I completely gave up and am just trying to run at least 15-20 mpw. My new shoes didn't work out, so I sent them back and will be trying New Balances. Easy running feels good and is what I'm enjoying- don't really want to set any goals since I still need to figure out how I'm going to get my miles in at the new house. Tons of coyote trails to run on, but nothing very stroller friendly other than running the same mile of cul-de-sacs in my neighborhood over and over again.

spike - sorry about the tires.  We had that earlier this year - the cost stressed me out.

eh- DH's truck will need new tires probably in the spring, and the price quote was $1200. Oh well, both vehicles are paid off (well almost, only owe one more payment on my car), can't complain too much. Just annoying when we have some big expenses coming up like furniture and putting in a yard.
