    RR - 12K with Amy.

    KR - he was getting ready for bed when I got home from work, and I went upstairs to see him.  He laughed and said, "hands tickling me!" Neither DH nor I were touching him...then we realized he had his hands down his pants.

    FR - bulgogi, rice, shanghai bokchoy

    WR - I called the human rights people and they said it sounded like I had a case and if I wanted to file a complaint, I could go ahead and do it.  Then I called HR and said as much..apparently the regional VP had talked to dickhead last week (obviously with little effect) so I went into every detail about everything dickhead said to me and mentioned the human rights case.  I said I wasn't interested in money but just wanted acknowledgement that the whole reason behind me quitting was dickhead not allowing me time to secure daycare and not me being an insubordinate employee.  Well, an hour later I got a apologetic sounding voicemail from the regional VP (I was at work for another few hours so I couldn't listen to it until late) asking me to call him back and a followup from HR too.

      RR - I did not get my run in yesterday as planned. S was sleeping in bed with DH and I did not want to wake them up by rummaging around in there for my running clothes, which I had forgotten to take out earlier. Admittedly, my lack of excitement about the snow yesterday morning probably also played a role  So I ST'd instead. Tonight will be a TM run after S goes to bed, however many kms I can get in while watching one episode of nip/tuck

      TR - We got these purple heirloom carrots in our CSA box this week and she is obsessed with eating them raw and calling herself a bunny.

      FR - Chicken and root vegetable stew

      NRR - Grocery shopping this morning and then taking S to the community centre. They are going to have baby chicks there today and tomorrow and be taking Easter pictures of all the kids. Clearly a much less creepy option than Easter pictures with the human-sized Easter bunny at the mall!

      ~~~~~
      zorbs - LMAO at "hands tickling me". Seriously, I cannot stop laughing at that. Can't wait to hear the update after you speak to the VP and HR today!
      Bad Ass Mother Runner
        Morning!
        RR - 15-16 k tonight w/ RP, then ST'ing afterwards.
        KR - is not excited for summer at all... keeps reminding us how there are bugs in summer and she doesn't like bugs.
        TR - was clearly saying "mo milk" at supper last night.  I can tell when I pick her up from the day home that everyone is happier because the weather is nicer, and they've spent time outside.
        FR - pot roast last night, DH is in charge tonight.
        NRR - dh's boss wife did not have the baby, at the last second after she was prepped and ready to go the surgeon pulled out and said he wanted to wait.  They are apparently really concerned for the baby and lasting developmental issues.  She's 33 weeks - and she's having a boy, and the dr's are saying that boys develop slower in utero and that is why they want to wait as long as possible.  I've never heard that boys develop slower in utero - Maybe they develop slower in some respects **ie, communication - they are too busy climbing and playing in the mud** once they're out?
        NRR2 - for nola or anyone else who's not on FB, I'm raising money for a charity race, and having a giveaway on my blog... link below Smile
        Zorbs - That's awesome that the VP and HR are taking you seriously!  I'm guessing that you are done working there regardless?
        Ernie - M often eats her meals pretending to be something, a birdie eating worms, a dinosaur - either eating plants or meat, or a whole array of animals from Diego.
          ernie - somehow I picture S chasing the chicks around.  The VP only said, "call me back" but his tone of voice was apologetic, definitely not like dickhead, who always sounded smug, cold and condescending, no matter what he said.  Maybe the VP is just a better actor.
          CA - the HR lady asked if I would consider returning to another location (not possible, too far a drive) or to the same club if they gave me time to find daycare and I said "no I cannot work with dickhead as manager." Ernie told me the threat of me filing a complaint would definitely scare the shit out of the higher ups, and she was very very right. Smile  I have never heard the thing about boys developing slower in utero either,. although of course it does make sense to keep the baby in there for as long as possible.  I keep thinking about that tlee from RWOL..
            RR: Bootcamp this morning. 3.25 miles pushing R to the park, might add more if he wants to ride home rather than walk. So tired today.
            TR: so cute today- he hasn't stopped talking since he got up. DH said that he walked past our BR an looked inside asking "Mama?" right when he got up.  DH told him I was at work, and he said "Car, Mama work!"
            NRR: felt tired and headache most of the day yesterday. My body is not used to all that sugar from the glucose drink!
            WR: went to a health fair at a local manufacturing plant this morning for a couple of hrs after Bootcamp. Hoping to get more interest for training as well as spread the word about our stroller class.
            At the park now- be back for personals!
              RR - 6ish miles in a little while.  I'm waiting for it to warm up to the 50s so I can wear a tank, I'm afraid I'll feel cold if it's still in the 40s.  It's sunny but windy.
              BR - has been really clingy this week, I think he's mad at me for leaving him for a week.  It's cute and nice to be missed sometimes.  I plan on taking him to the park after I pick him up from mother's morning out.  He LOVES the slides, and especially loves pushing me down the slide in front of him.
              KR - the girls walk to school with neighbor kids and this morning 10 minutes after they left DD3 knocks on the door saying the other kids left her.  I was furious.  I think it was mostly DD3's fault though since she was walking SUPER slow this morning and being a general brat.
              FR - something from skinnytaste with collard greens and ground beef, can't remember what it's called.  It doesn't really sound good to me but I know DH will appreciate having red meat, I very rarely cook it and he loves it.
              NRR - when we went to the gala benefiting DD2's syndrome I bid on and won a trip to Vegas so we are going for DH's 40th birthday in June.  I'm super excited - we're going with my brother and his girlfriend and friends from NY.  DH and I have never been there together so it should be fun!
              zorbs - LOL at the hand tickling!  Everytime I wake L up from his nap his hand is down his pants.  Boys!  Glad HR is taking you seriously!!
              ernie - Yum, your FR is making me drool.  I ordered something similar at a restaurant last week and my kids ate most of it so I hardly got any.  I want it again.  Baby chicks sound MUCH cuter than a human EB!
              CA - I missed it, why is she having the baby so early?  Someone told me that with girls they will induce 3 weeks early but with boys no more than 1 week early.  I don't like bugs either!  But I'm still excited for summer Smile
              rg - I haven't done a stroller run in ages so I'm hoping L will still cooperate when I try again!  The park sounds fun, hoping to go there myself this afternoon!
              Honorary Old
                RR: yesterday was SRD. GOing to try to find someone to watch R and lift at the gym, if I can't or if he was too naughty today, I'll just take him with me and use wussier weights in the women's/ghetto gym downstairs where I can plop him on one of those rebounder trampolines in front of the TV.
                TR1: Was naughty again at daycare, she didn't think he was bad enough to lose his Barney, but I took away TV priviliges last night and reminded him often that he couldn't want a movie because of hitting at daycare. I made him clean his room, which took him the better part of an hour with all the histrionics. At one point he came out and started yelling at me and demaning- "Mom! You clean my room! NOW!" Umm no kiddo, I just picked him up and put him in is room and shut the door, then went and laughed in the kitchen. I must have been in a mean mom mood yesterday because I found the hysterics/bargaining/anger/meltdowns over not wanting to pick up his toys kind of amusing. Once he was done we got to read books and color a little bit.
                TR2: Was getting ready for work this morning and he was hell bent on picking out an outfit, only my running clothes were at his heigh so he chose a running shirt and blazer. I told him we had to pick clothes from up high, he said I should wear blue, so I grabbed a couple and let him choose my shirt today. After I put it on, he said "Mom, you need to wear pants. K?"  LOL
                FR: Last night was a mexican casserole thing. Nothing fancy but DH loved it, and loved that I was cleaning the house and had dinner ready when he got home. My language for expressing love is definitely acts of service. Tonight will be stirfry.
                NRR: Dirt and dust everywhere. Still have heavy equipment guy moving stuff around but can't wait to get sprinklers and grass in to get it under control. My mop was so grody last night.  Sprinklers, even with the super-special friend, beer party labor discount is going to be like $4-6k because our yard is probably at least an acre. Sad
                  zorbs- Yay for HR action! I hope they can him!  R is especially bad about hands-in-the-pants when he wears overalls.
                  Ernie- Easter bunny costumes are so creepy!
                  CA- Hope Dh's boss's wife is ok. I've never heard the thing about slower development either? R was a week past his due date and was still tiny, so I dunno about that.  How long is your fundraising campaign? I would like to donate, but need to wait until next month probably.
                  RG- ugg glucose drink is yucky. The nurse was sure I was going to barf mine up because I pounded it like a can of Busch Light at a frat party. I find that if I sip stuff I get more grossed out than if I chug.
                  Armama- have you been to Vegas before? I've been twice, let me know if you need any recs. Glad you had a good vacation! I think R would be very upset if I left for a week, the longest we've been apart is 3 days, and his godmother had to tell him I was at work to keep him from being upset. He knows that I always come home from work eventually. I need to check out skinnytaste, hear a lot about it but have never looked it up.
                    just a couple quickies... at a client today.
                    arm - dh boss wife is hemorrhaging... so her health is at risk, but they are trying to let the baby stay put as long as possible, it all sounds risky and scary.
                    spike - lots of time, not doing the draw until June.  I frequently laugh at the toddler antics and freak outs also.
                    beskirted & manicured
                      Got a huge sincere apology from the regional VP, saying that the actual company policy for availability is actually 20 hours and not 25 as dickhead stated.  Apparently dickhead was forced into a management position when the previous manager resigned suddenly and they are bringing in a permanent manager next week and dickhead will be demoted back to his previous position, assistant PT manager (aka PT salesperson), which means I never need to talk to him again.  He invited me to go to the gym and speak to another manager about finding a schedule that works for me and the 20 hours.  I just might.  I am feeling rather proud for sticking up for myself and stirring the shit until things got fixed.  As for dickhead..he woefully underestimated me. Wink and I can't thank ernie enough for her legal advice and all of you for listening to me complain throughout this whole ordeal!
                      rg - perhaps you would feel better if you ran 20 miles to burn off all that sugar!
                      arm - your FR doesn't sound terribly appetizing to me either.  I only have been to Vegas for 1 day and no one told me the drinks in the casino were free so when they told me I didn't need to pay I got freaked out that some mafia boss had comped the drink for some nefarious purpose and I ran like hell out of there. (I was 22 and by myself that night)
                      spike - they let you take kids onto the gym floor? How does R get his hand down his pants while wearing overalls?
                        Zorbs- his overalls button at the hip, he can get his hands right down in there.  The "women's gym" is a joke- it is the boneyard for all the brokedick equipment and is where people do exercise videos and teenyboppers do strange dance routines. There is a room for kids to entertain themselves, but no childcare, so I don't think R would stay in there. I might call RP Heidi and see if she wants to shlep her kids to the gym so R and her kids can play in the kids room.  There used to be a "No kids ever" policy at the gym, but some time ago that seems to have gone away. Most people are pretty respectful about it, RP's 5 yo usually sits on a bench with the iPad while they work out.
                            zorbs- lol, I was thinking that I should have waited to run until AFTER the glucose test, and not before it yesterday. ahaha on the hands tickling- what a boy. sounds like you've got good backing on your side with HR. I hope they fire that asshat.
                            Ernie- have a good TM run tonight! cute on the purple carrots- I've never tried them, is the flavor much different from the regular ones? Aw, have fun at the community center. Yes, the easter bunny is the creepiest thing ever. I will not subject R to that torture! haha.
                            CA- have a great run/ST later! haha on M remembering the bugs from last summer. This warmer weather has been great for everyone's moods- adults and kids alike.  Huh, interesting on the dr's waiting on the baby. Are they hoping to make it to x number of weeks? I assume she's going to stay in the hospital until then?
                            arm- whoohoo on the temps I the 50's! enjoy that run today. Ha, R likes to push me down the slide too- it's super cute. Ugh on the girls leaving DD3- walk faster woman Wink hooray for a free trip to Vegas! is it a kid-free trip? I did a stroller run with R last week- it was the first one since last fall, and R was content for a full 5 miles.
                            spike- hope you can find a sitter to watch R for you. omg- I've definitely had to leave the room before so R doesn't see me laughing in his face while he's getting upset at whatever dumb toddler thing is making him angry. I feel mean too, but sometimes you can't help but laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation. Ugh on the sprinkler cost! Haha- I pounded mine too, and the nurse looked up at me in shock and awe. It's the only way to get through it! Helps that it was cold, too.
                                CA - Don't let anyone hear M say she's not looking forward to summer; it may cause a riot after the winter we had  I have actually read that male fetuses are more "fragile", so more vulnerable to genetic/environmental damage and the majority of miscarriages are of male babies. So I guess that might go hand-in-hand with developing more slowly in utereo? Anyway, it's good that they can keep that baby in there a little longer!
                                zorbs - S did not chase the baby chicks as they were in a basket, but she did poke one in the beak until in bit her.
                                rg - You probably feel tired because you have a sugar hangover from the glucose test! Hope you find some new clients at the health fair. Purple carrots are harder than orange carrots and I would say the flavour is a bit more intense.
                                arm - I think I'd be chilly in a tank top before it hits 50F, too, unless I was racing. So awesome that you won a Vegas trip!
                                spike - So he cleaned his room AND you got some time to yourself in the kitchen while he was in there? That's a mom win! I keep hearing people talk about these love languages and I have no idea what they are talking about. I think I'll have to look it up.
