Did better than I expected so another step in the right direction. Had a little breeze on the 2nd lap going south and then still when we turned left to go East. After that it was clear sailing along Monterey and then up the slight hill on Main to the finish. Good one.
Missed splits and then forgot to turn off the watch when I crossed the finish. per GPS mile splits were:
6:14
6:24
6:14
0:24
But that includes the time spent before crossing the start line (gun time, not chip time). Likely, that first mile was faster.
