Wow, not bad. I guess I did what I wanted to (not fall asleep in mile 2). Mile 1 and 2 were uphill, 3 was half up half down and 4 was downhill. There was definitely some problem with the chip timing. I was on the front row for the start and hit the stop button on my watch as I passed the SECOND timing mat and got 23:57. Estimate 2 seconds from the first mat so a real time of 23:55. A quick poll of the top runners confirmed they all lost ~4 seconds on the chip time. Still listing it as a 23:59 until, and if, they clean up the times.
