Why do I run:
To fend off old man time and to try to keep up with my 20 something year old sons while mountain climbing. And for the beer. |
Why I started running:
I moved back to Colorado in 1994 and wanted to start climbing the 14ers (54 mountain peaks 14,000 feet or more) and thought running would be the best way to get back in shape. Started by signing up for the 1995 Bolder Boulder 10K and have done it 14 years running. No pun intended! Lately I've been trying to run some marathons, slowly! |
